Description

A delightful croissant filled with a luscious goat cheese mixture, sweetened with honey and spiced with cinnamon, complemented by crisp apple slices.


Ingredients

  • 4 croissants
  • 1 cup goat cheese
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice each croissant in half horizontally.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the goat cheese, honey, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Spread the goat cheese mixture generously on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Layer the thin apple slices on top of the goat cheese.
  6. If desired, sprinkle with chopped walnuts or pecans.
  7. Place the top half of the croissant back on.
  8. Melt the butter and brush it on the outside of each croissant.
  9. Place the croissants on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes.
