- 4 croissants
- 1 cup goat cheese
- 2 apples, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice each croissant in half horizontally.
- In a small bowl, mix the goat cheese, honey, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Spread the goat cheese mixture generously on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Layer the thin apple slices on top of the goat cheese.
- If desired, sprinkle with chopped walnuts or pecans.
- Place the top half of the croissant back on.
- Melt the butter and brush it on the outside of each croissant.
- Place the croissants on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes.
