- 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
- Powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Stir until coated.
- Assemble the egg rolls: Lay out an egg roll wrapper, add 2 tablespoons of filling, fold in the sides, roll tightly, and seal with water.
- Fry to perfection: Preheat oil to 350°F and fry egg rolls for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm: Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
