Description

Crispy egg rolls filled with sweet, cinnamon-spiced apples, reminiscent of classic apple pie.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups diced apples (about 3 apples, peeled)
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Stir until coated.
  2. Assemble the egg rolls: Lay out an egg roll wrapper, add 2 tablespoons of filling, fold in the sides, roll tightly, and seal with water.
  3. Fry to perfection: Preheat oil to 350°F and fry egg rolls for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Serve warm: Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
