Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Spaghetti: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add spaghetti. Cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Beef: In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat, add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Sauté Aromatics: Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Sauce: Lower heat, stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Combine Spaghetti and Sauce: Toss in the cooked spaghetti and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with green onions, and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter dish, use lean ground beef and add more vegetables. Optionally, include lime juice before serving for extra flavor.
