- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 4 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Spaghetti: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add spaghetti. Cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the Beef: In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat, add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Sauté Aromatics: Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Prepare the Sauce: Lower heat, stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Combine Spaghetti and Sauce: Toss in the cooked spaghetti and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with green onions, and serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter dish, use lean ground beef and add more vegetables. Optionally, include lime juice before serving for extra flavor.
