Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, mix sugar and vegetable oil until blended.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in buttermilk and vanilla extract.
  6. Mix in blue gel food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
  7. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  8. Divide batter evenly between prepared pans.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
