Description

A delightful dish that combines the buttery flakiness of croissants with sweet-tart blueberries enveloped in a rich custard, perfect for brunches.


Ingredients

  • 4 croissants, sliced into thick chunks
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a greased baking dish, layer your sliced croissants and sprinkle blueberries over them.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and optional cinnamon, then beat until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture over the croissants and blueberries.
  5. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set and golden.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes
