Description

Delicious Buffalo shrimp wrapped in crispy lettuce leaves, drizzled with creamy dressing for a guilt-free indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s)
  • 1 head romaine or butter lettuce (12 leaves)
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 rib celery, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup light blue cheese or ranch dressing
  • Chopped chives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add shrimp and garlic; cook 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  3. Turn off heat and toss shrimp in hot sauce until well coated.
  4. Place shrimp into lettuce cups and top with onion, celery, dressing, and chives.

Notes

For a lighter option, try low-sugar hot sauce and dairy-free dressing. Ensure shrimp are not overcooked to avoid a rubbery texture.
