Description

A vibrant salad featuring creamy burrata, juicy tomatoes, and fresh basil drizzled with olive oil and balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 170 g Burrata
  • 550 g Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Basil
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic glaze
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash your tomatoes thoroughly and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into slices.
  3. Arrange the tomatoes on a large plate, leaving space in the center for the burrata cheese.
  4. Add basil leaves between every slice of tomato.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes, followed by kosher salt and black pepper.
  6. Drain the burrata and place it in the center of the plate.
  7. Gently cut the burrata open to allow the creamy interior to ooze out.
  8. Season again with kosher salt and black pepper, then drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  9. Serve immediately with toasted bread, crostini, or fresh French-style bread.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Avoid cooking the tomatoes for ideal taste and texture.
