Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, blend the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ones, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Spoon the batter into the cupcake liners, filling them about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting with a mixture of powdered sugar and softened butter.
