Description

Warm, gooey rolls filled with apple and caramel, perfect for cozy evenings or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon until well coated.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle at the wide end into two strips.
  4. Place a tablespoon of the apple mixture on the wide end of each triangle and drizzle in caramel sauce.
  5. Roll tightly from the wide to the pointy end, enclosing the apple and caramel.
  6. Arrange the rolls on the baking sheet and brush the tops with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly and drizzle with additional caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

For a healthier version, use low-sugar caramel sauce and whole wheat crescent roll dough.
