- 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon until well coated.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle at the wide end into two strips.
- Place a tablespoon of the apple mixture on the wide end of each triangle and drizzle in caramel sauce.
- Roll tightly from the wide to the pointy end, enclosing the apple and caramel.
- Arrange the rolls on the baking sheet and brush the tops with melted butter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly and drizzle with additional caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
For a healthier version, use low-sugar caramel sauce and whole wheat crescent roll dough.
