- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
- 3/4 cup Kraft caramel bits
- Ghirardelli caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened salted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, oats, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt, then gradually mix into the butter-sugar mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the semisweet chocolate chunks and Kraft caramel bits.
- Scoop dough balls onto a lined baking sheet, placing 5 per tray. Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden around the edges.
- Let the cookies cool on the pan for 15-20 minutes, then drizzle with Ghirardelli caramel sauce.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using applesauce instead of half the butter and coconut sugar for brown sugar.
