Description

A comforting casserole that combines savory ground beef, creamy cheddar cheese, and fluffy rice for a nostalgic family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for 7-9 minutes, draining excess fat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cooked beef with rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, a cup of cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Let cool for a few minutes, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

For a healthier version, use lean ground beef or substitute with ground turkey. You can add vegetables for extra nutrition.
