Description
Delicious bites of crust filled with gooey cheese and savory pepperoni, perfect for snacking or gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough or homemade pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices cut into quarters
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce plus extra for dipping
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional Add-Ons: Diced bell peppers, Olives, Cooked sausage
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C), and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Separate the biscuit dough into individual pieces or divide homemade pizza dough into small balls. Flatten each piece into a circle about 4 inches in diameter.
- Spoon a small amount of pizza sauce onto the center of each circle. Add a generous amount of shredded mozzarella and a few pieces of pepperoni.
- Pull the edges of the dough up and over the filling, pinching tightly to seal. Be careful to avoid any leaks. Roll gently into a ball and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush each bomb with melted butter, allowing it to soak in, and sprinkle generously with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until they turn a beautiful golden brown and begin to develop an irresistible crust.
- Allow the pizza bombs to cool slightly, then serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
For a lighter twist, swap out the dough for whole wheat or cauliflower crust and add more veggies for extra flavor.
