- 1 package Oreo cookies (crushed to a fine texture)
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped cream (or Cool Whip)
- 1 package instant pistachio pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- Green food coloring (optional)
- Whimsical heart sprinkles (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until well-mixed. Press into the bottom of a pie pan to form a crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes and let it cool completely.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the pistachio pudding mix and milk until thickened.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture, then combine with the pudding.
- If desired, add green food coloring to achieve desired shade.
- Pour the filling into the cooled Oreo crust and spread evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Decorate the top with heart sprinkles before serving.
Notes
For added crunch and flavor, consider topping with crushed pistachios. Customize with different pudding flavors or add vanilla extract for a twist.
