Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a blender or food processor, add cottage cheese, egg yolks, cornstarch, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a clean bowl, add egg whites and cream of tartar. Whip until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Gently fold whipped egg whites into the cottage cheese mixture.
  5. Spoon batter onto the baking sheet in 4-5 inch rounds.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and firm.
  7. Cool on the pan then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes
