Description

A comforting bowl of Creamy Garlic Chicken Ramen, featuring tender chicken in a velvety broth with perfectly cooked ramen noodles, garlic, and ginger aromas.


Ingredients

  • 200 g ramen noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 500 g boneless, skinless chicken thighs, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 cup baby spinach (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add sliced chicken thighs, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Remove and keep warm.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the pot, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, soy sauce, miso paste, and sesame oil. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Return cooked chicken to the pot, add spinach if using, and cook for another minute.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve ramen in bowls, ladling broth and chicken over the noodles, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Don’t skip the sautéing step for garlic and ginger; it enhances the aroma.
