A comforting dish featuring linguine pasta, fresh prawns, and a rich creamy sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb fresh prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  5. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss gently to coat in the sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using fresh prawns and pairing the dish with garlic bread and a light salad.
