- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper.
- Cook until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side, then remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, sautéing until soft and golden.
- Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine, simmering until slightly thickened.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted and well mixed.
- Place the chicken back in the skillet, spooning the creamy mixture over it.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
