Description

A delightful dish that combines tender chicken breasts with a creamy sauce enriched with fresh spinach and earthy mushrooms, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side, then remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, sautéing until soft and golden.
  5. Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine, simmering until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in shredded cheese until melted and well mixed.
  8. Place the chicken back in the skillet, spooning the creamy mixture over it.
  9. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
