Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and almond extract (if using).
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
- Using a cookie press or piping bag, squeeze out shapes onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
