Instructions
- Slice the cabbage and shred the carrots: Gather and thinly slice the green and red cabbages, then shred the carrots and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk the dressing: In a separate small bowl, combine rice vinegar, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, and honey (or maple syrup); whisk until blended.
- Toss the vegetables with the dressing: Add sliced green onions and the dressing to the mixing bowl, tossing until all vegetables are coated.
- Top with sesame seeds: Sprinkle sesame seeds over the slaw just before serving.
Notes
Allow the slaw to marinate for 15-30 minutes to enhance flavors. It keeps well in the refrigerator for up to three days but is best when fresh.
