Description

Soft, pillowy naan bread that is quick and easy to make, perfect for any meal or enjoyed on its own.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Warm water as needed

Instructions

  2. Gradually add yogurt, followed by warm water until dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for at least 1 hour.
  5. Divide the dough into portions, roll into balls, and flatten into oval shapes.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, cook naan for about 2 minutes on each side until golden.

Notes

For a lighter version, use dairy-free yogurt or whole wheat flour. Be mindful not to overbake to prevent drying out.
