Description

Indulgent garlic bread bowls filled with cheesy spaghetti, perfect for a comforting family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 small round bread rolls
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb ground beef or chicken
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Extra Parmesan (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil spaghetti until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions until soft. Add garlic and cook for another minute. Add ground meat and cook until browned. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, then mix in spaghetti and mozzarella.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Hollow out bread rolls. Mix melted butter with garlic, parsley, and Italian seasoning. Brush the mixture inside the rolls and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Fill each bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture, top with mozzarella and Parmesan, and return to oven for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted.
  5. Garnish with basil, parsley, or red pepper flakes before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
