- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature

- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- A pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar together until fluffy, then add the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Scoop dollops of dough onto lined baking sheets, make indentations, fill them with cream cheese mixture, and cover with more dough.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden around the edges. Cool on a wire rack.
Notes
