Description

Delicious grilled jalapeños that capture the essence of summer barbecues with a perfect balance of spice and flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 to 8 jalapeño peppers
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (350 to 450 degrees F).
  2. Wash and thoroughly dry the jalapeños.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, sea salt, and cumin; stir well.
  4. Toss the jalapeños in the oil mixture until each pepper is coated.
  5. Skewer the peppers onto metal or bamboo skewers for easy grilling.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until grill marks form, then flip and grill for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  7. Remove from the grill and squeeze fresh lime juice if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a healthier twist, serve with a dairy-free yogurt dip. Avoid overbaking to prevent charred peppers.
