Description

A sensational twist on the classic burger featuring juicy beef patties nestled between perfectly grilled onion rings and topped with melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 large onions, sliced into thick rings
  • 4 slices of cheese (American, Swiss, or your favorite)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional condiments: mustard or ketchup
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for grilling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. Slice the onions into thick rings.
  3. In a large bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then shape into patties slightly larger than the onion rings.
  4. Grill the onion rings for 5-7 minutes until caramelized and tender.
  5. Grill the beef patties for 4-5 minutes on one side, flip, add cheese, and grill for another 4-5 minutes until done.
  6. Assemble the burgers with an onion ring, beef patty, melted cheese, and another onion ring on top.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite condiments.

Notes
