Description

Celebrate Halloween with these colorful, fun cookies that kids adore, featuring mini Oreos, Chips Ahoy, and candy eyeballs.


Ingredients

  • 1 (17.5 ounce) bag of sugar cookie mix
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Blue food coloring
  • 1/2 cup mini Oreos, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup mini Chips Ahoy, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 32 large candy eyeballs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to the temperature specified on the sugar cookie mix package.
  2. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar cookie mix, softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Add a few drops of blue food coloring to the dough and mix until evenly colored.
  5. Gently fold in the mini Oreos, mini Chips Ahoy, white chocolate chips, and semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Using a large scoop, scoop the dough and roll it into balls. Place them on the prepared cookie sheets.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 13-16 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and immediately press the candy eyeballs into the front of each cookie while they are still warm.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

For a low-sugar option, use a sugar-free cookie mix. For dairy-free, substitute butter with coconut oil.
