Description

Ingredients

  • 3 medium ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Mix in the eggs and honey or maple syrup until creamy.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
