A healthy and indulgent twist on a classic apple crumble, packed with protein and flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup apple, cored and diced
  • 2 tsp. sugar-free brown sugar alternative
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice (optional)
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp. gluten-free rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp. (15g) protein powder (pea, whey, or casein)
  • 2 tbsp. sugar-free brown sugar alternative
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. vegan butter (or unsalted butter)
  • 1–2 tsp. unsweetened applesauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix diced apples with brown sugar alternative, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  3. Grease a ramekin and press the apple mixture into the bottom.
  4. Mix oats, protein powder, sweetener, cinnamon, butter, and applesauce until combined.
  5. Spread the crumble mixture over the apples.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden.
  7. Serve warm with optional dairy-free ice cream.
