Instructions

  5. Shape the Loaf: Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place in a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan. Let rise for 30-40 minutes until domed.

  7. Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.

For a dairy-free option, substitute butter with vegetable oil or coconut oil. For a low-sugar loaf, reduce sugar to 1 tablespoon.
