Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Lil Smokies (about 14 oz)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and red pepper flakes until fully combined.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil and allow it to heat.
  3. Add the Lil Smokies to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning until browned.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the smokies, stirring gently to coat them evenly.
  5. Continue to cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens and caramelizes.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with green onions, and serve warm.

Notes

Adjust the red pepper flakes to suit your heat preference. Can also add apple cider vinegar for extra flavor.
