- 1 package Lil Smokies (about 14 oz)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1–2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and red pepper flakes until fully combined.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil and allow it to heat.
- Add the Lil Smokies to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning until browned.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the smokies, stirring gently to coat them evenly.
- Continue to cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens and caramelizes.
- Remove from heat, garnish with green onions, and serve warm.
Notes
Adjust the red pepper flakes to suit your heat preference. Can also add apple cider vinegar for extra flavor.
