Description

A succulent turkey breast seasoned to perfection, perfect for family gatherings & festive occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole bone-in turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Rinse the turkey breast under cold water and pat it dry.
  3. Mix kosher salt and black pepper, seasoning the turkey inside and out.
  4. Melt the butter and mix with garlic, rosemary, and thyme, rubbing it under the skin of the turkey.
  5. Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan, bone-side down.
  6. Roast for 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let it rest for 20 minutes before carving and serving.

Notes

Brining the turkey breast before cooking can enhance flavor. Adding citrus slices inside the cavity can brighten the dish.
