- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 1/4 cup blackberry preserves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar; mix well.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until golden; allow to cool completely.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping until no streaks remain.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
- For the topping, combine the blackberries, blackberry preserves, and lemon juice in a saucepan; cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
- Pour the blackberry mixture over the cream cheese layer; refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Notes
Use fresh blackberries for best results. You can mix in other berries for a colorful twist.
