Description

Succulent Lebanese Kafta Kebabs infused with aromatic spices and fresh herbs, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 600 grams lean ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, quartered
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, washed and patted dry
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon seven spice blend
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop the vegetables: Place the quartered onion and fresh parsley into a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, parsley-onion mixture, and spices. Mix thoroughly with hands until well incorporated.
  3. Shape the kebabs: Mold the meat mixture around skewers, forming kebabs about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
  4. Grill the kebabs: Preheat grill to medium-high, brush with oil, and grill kebabs for about 4 minutes on each side until cooked through and charred.

Notes

You can adjust spice levels and substitute with ground lamb or chicken as desired. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
