- 4 ½ cups bread flour
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 (1/4 oz) packet instant yeast
- Cooking spray
- 1 Tbsp cornmeal
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 lb shredded low moisture mozzarella
- 24 thin slices pepperoni
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Prepare the Oven and Dough: Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Mix the Ingredients: In a stand mixer, combine flour, olive oil, salt, sugar, yeast, and warm water. Beat until smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Let the Dough Rise: Transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise for 15 minutes.
- Shape the Dough: Roll out the dough on a floured surface into an 18″ x 13″ rectangle.
- Prepare the Sheet Pan: Sprinkle cornmeal on the baking sheet and transfer the rolled dough onto it.
- Add the Toppings: Spread pizza sauce on the dough, top with mozzarella, pepperoni, and Italian seasoning.
- Bake: Bake in the oven for 15 to 17 minutes until edges are browned and cheese is melted.
Notes
For a unique twist, consider adding vegetables or different types of cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
