Description

A delightful fusion of chocolate and pumpkin flavors, this Moist Chocolate Pumpkin Bread is perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Butter (melted and cooled)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/3 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups Canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend pumpkin puree, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, cooled melted butter, kosher salt, egg, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and sifted cocoa powder. Whisk until velvety.
  3. Add flour and baking soda, mixing until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips until just incorporated.
  5. Pour batter into the loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Notes

To store, wrap tightly in plastic or keep in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or a week in the fridge. Can be frozen for longer storage.
