Description

A delightful banana bread infused with rich Nutella, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (overripe)
  • 85 g butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose or cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until pudding-like.
  3. Add eggs, kosher salt, vanilla extract, both sugars, yogurt, and melted butter, whisking until combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour and baking soda until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and swirl Nutella on top.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve warm with ice cream or toasted with butter. Store sliced sections in plastic wrap for freshness.
