- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 large Egg (optional)
- 1 cup Cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the cabbage into thick ½ inch slices and generously brush both sides with olive oil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine your selected protein with chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix well and introduce the egg for binding, if desired.
- Form the meat mixture into patties, molding them to match the size of the cabbage slices.
- Position the patties on the cabbage slices.
- Bake the burgers in your preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes.
- Optional: Sprinkle your choice of cheese atop the patties and broil for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until melted and bubbly.
- Serve and enjoy garnished with fresh parsley.
