Description

A delightful blend of flavors and textures that elevates traditional meatloaf with tender ground chicken and rich Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, egg, minced garlic, and dried Italian herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Mold the mixture into a loaf shape and transfer to a baking dish.
  4. Optional: Top with additional marinara sauce and breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider adding Worcestershire sauce or sautéed vegetables. Mini meatloaves can also be made for lunches.
