Description

A refreshing and colorful pasta salad featuring angel hair pasta, cherry tomatoes, black olives, and a creamy dressing, perfect for picnics and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • 1 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1 cup shaved carrots
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • 1 tsp Cavender’s Greek seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions in heavily salted boiling water until tender but still a bit firm.
  2. Drain the pasta and rinse under cold running water to cool it down.
  3. Slice the black olives, shave the carrots, and halve the cherry tomatoes while the pasta cools.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and Italian dressing, then mix in the Greek seasoning.
  5. Add the cooled pasta and veggies to the dressing and gently fold everything together.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

Consider substituting regular mayonnaise with a low-fat version or Greek yogurt for a lighter option. You can also use whole wheat or gluten-free pasta.
