Description

A refreshing and vibrant salsa that combines sweet pineapple with zesty peppers and a hint of spice, perfect for snacking or as a topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Fresh Pineapple, diced
  • 1 Red Pepper, diced
  • 1 Red Onion, diced
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Jalapeño Pepper, diced
  • Juice of 1 Fresh Lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro (optional), chopped
  • Whey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pineapple by cutting off the top and bottom, slicing away the skin, and dicing the flesh.
  2. Dice the red pepper, onion, and garlic, and jalapeño pepper (removing seeds for milder salsa).
  3. In a large bowl, combine all diced ingredients and squeeze lime juice over the mixture, adding sea salt.
  4. If using, fold in chopped cilantro and let sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
