- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose or bread flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of flour with yeast, sugar, and salt. Pour in warm water and olive oil, mixing until it resembles a thick soup.
- Stir in another cup of flour. As it becomes clumpy, flour your hands and knead, adding more flour to prevent stickiness.
- Grease a clean bowl and place the dough inside. Cover with a warm cloth and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
- Once risen, push it down and knead a few more times. Shape the dough on a pizza pan, poking the center with a fork.
- Top with your favorite ingredients and bake in a preheated oven at 425°F for about 15 minutes.
Notes
Wrap leftover dough tightly in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
