Description

A warm and inviting pull apart bread infused with garlic and fresh rosemary, perfect for sharing at gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add in warm water, milk, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
  4. For the garlic rosemary butter, mix melted butter, garlic, rosemary, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide it into 30-35 small balls, rolling each one into a smooth ball.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Dip each dough ball into the garlic rosemary butter and arrange them in a greased bundt pan or baking dish. Brush any leftover butter on top and sprinkle with Parmesan if desired.
  7. Cover the pan and let it rest for 15-20 minutes to allow the dough to rise again.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before unmolding. Serve warm.

Notes

Avoid overbaking; if browning too quickly, cover with foil. Ensure dough rises adequately for a fluffy texture.
