Description
A warm and inviting pull apart bread infused with garlic and fresh rosemary, perfect for sharing at gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add in warm water, milk, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
- For the garlic rosemary butter, mix melted butter, garlic, rosemary, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into 30-35 small balls, rolling each one into a smooth ball.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Dip each dough ball into the garlic rosemary butter and arrange them in a greased bundt pan or baking dish. Brush any leftover butter on top and sprinkle with Parmesan if desired.
- Cover the pan and let it rest for 15-20 minutes to allow the dough to rise again.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before unmolding. Serve warm.
Notes
Avoid overbaking; if browning too quickly, cover with foil. Ensure dough rises adequately for a fluffy texture.
