Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 small round bread rolls (sourdough or boule style)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (plus more for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the tops off the bread rolls and hollow out centers gently.
  3. Mix melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, and dried parsley; brush inside each bread bowl.
  4. Toast the bread bowls in the oven for about 8 minutes until lightly crispy.
  5. In a skillet, brown meat (if using), then add marinara and cooked spaghetti; season with salt and pepper.
  6. Fill each bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.
  7. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for an additional 12-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, skip the meat and add veggies. Use gluten-free rolls if necessary.
