Description

A sensational treat combining bold flavors and delightful textures, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheese, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix in the breadcrumbs and the egg until everything is well combined.
  3. Using your hands, form small balls from the mixture.
  4. In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat.
  5. Carefully add the meatballs to the hot oil and fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Remove from the pan and drain excess oil on paper towels. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding diced jalapeños or different types of cheese. Substitute crushed tortilla chips for breadcrumbs for a different texture.
