Delightful roll-ups made with soft tortillas and a creamy strawberry filling, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

- 10 oz soft flour tortillas (about 6 small tortillas)
- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- 0.5 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1.5 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 0.5 tsp finely grated lemon zest (optional)
- 0.13 tsp fine salt
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 0.25 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Prepare the filling by mixing softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl until smooth.
- Gently fold in diced strawberries and lemon zest (if using).
- Brush melted butter on one side of each tortilla.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture onto one side of each tortilla and roll tightly.
- Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a dish. Roll each tortilla in this mixture.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with melted butter. Cook roll-ups seam-side down for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Allow to cool, then slice into bite-sized pieces. Serve warm.
Notes
Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Can be made ahead and refrigerated.
