  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • For Decoration:
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos
  • Candy pumpkins
  • Peeps ghosts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a stand mixer, combine the melted butter, sugar, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add half of the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, followed by the brewed coffee and whole milk. Mix until smooth, then add remaining dry mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for an hour.
  6. Prepare the frosting by beating together room-temperature salted butter, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder until fluffy. Gradually add whole milk, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  7. Once cooled, frost the cake, sprinkle with crushed Oreos, and decorate with candy pumpkins, tombstones, ghost Peeps, and gummy worms.

Notes

Ensure that the cake is completely cool before frosting to avoid melting the icing. You can substitute ingredients for healthier options as desired.
