Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 3 cups frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups salsa

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef in a skillet over medium heat, draining excess fat.

  3. Layer frozen hash browns in a slow cooker, followed by the seasoned beef, salsa, and shredded cheese.
  4. If desired, add cream on top of the cheese.
  5. Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  6. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
  7. Spoon out and garnish with green onions if desired.

Notes

For added richness, you can incorporate a can of black beans or adjust spice levels with jalapeños.
