Description

Delightful Thai Basil Beef Rolls, infused with savory flavors and fresh ingredients, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup Thai basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 8 rice paper sheets
  • Lettuce leaves for wrapping
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped Thai basil, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil, and cook the beef mixture for 5-7 minutes until browned. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Prepare a shallow dish of warm water. Dip one rice paper sheet for 10-15 seconds until soft. Lay flat on a clean surface.
  4. Place a lettuce leaf and a spoonful of the beef mixture on the rice paper. Fold in sides and roll tightly. Repeat with remaining sheets and filling.
  5. Arrange beef rolls on a platter and garnish with cilantro leaves. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Ensure the rice paper is not overly soaked and use fresh herbs for garnish.
