Description

Indulge in a silky-smooth Thai Coconut Custard that harmoniously blends rich coconut and sweet notes, creating a velvety dessert that melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (13.5 ounces) coconut milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the coconut milk, sugar, eggs, flour, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gradually stir in the water to thin out the mixture.
  4. Pour the custard mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Place the baking dish in a larger baking pan, and fill the pan with hot water to create a water bath.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes, or until the custard is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better blending. Use a water bath to prevent cracking and ensure even cooking. Allow cooling for cleaner slices.
