Description

A quick and satisfying Tuna Avocado Salad combining creamy avocado, tender tuna, and zesty lime. Perfect for a light lunch, picnic treat, or dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can canned tuna packed in water
  • 2 ripe Hass avocados
  • 1/4 cup red onions, minced
  • 1/4 cup celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Drain the tuna thoroughly.
  2. Cube the avocados into approximately half-inch pieces.
  3. Mince the red onions very finely.
  4. Dice the celery into small pieces.
  5. Chop the cilantro including some of the tender stems.
  6. Add all ingredients to a medium bowl and mix until evenly distributed.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning with more lime juice or salt if needed.

Notes

Serve on a bed of greens, in a wrap, or straight from the bowl. Keep avocado fresh by adding it just before serving if prepping for later.
