Description

Delightful white chocolate truffles infused with refreshing orange zest, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • Cocoa powder or crushed nuts for coating

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream and unsalted butter. Heat over medium heat, stirring gently until the mixture begins to simmer. Be careful not to let it boil.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat. Add the chopped white chocolate to the warm cream mixture. Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Stir in the aromatic zest of the orange and the fresh orange juice. Mix until well integrated.
  4. Cover the saucepan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 120 minutes, or until the mixture is firm enough to scoop.
  5. Once firm, use a melon baller or a teaspoon to scoop out small portions. Roll each portion into a smooth ball using your hands.
  6. Roll each ball in cocoa powder or crushed nuts until well coated.
  7. Place the coated truffles in an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

For a more intense orange flavor, consider adding an extra tablespoon of orange juice or incorporating a few drops of orange extract.
